About the Program
Tool Share is a new community tool bank program provided by Rebuilding Together of South Alabama. Our team has watched many individual home-owners and organizations that provide work on local homes struggle to complete projects because of a lack of tools so we decided to fix it!
Tool Share is like a local library, but instead of checking out books and media, you borrow the tools you need to check projects off your to-do list!
2024 Tool Drive
In November 2024, Rebuilding Together of South Alabama is collecting new and gently used tools to support home repairs, disaster recovery and community revitalization efforts across Choctaw, Clarke, Mobile and Washington counties. How You Can Help: Donate hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, etc.) and power tools. Monetary contributions are also appreciated!

Get Involved
Because we are currently building this program from the foundation up, we can use all the help we can get!
Whether you have the ability to give financially to support the purchase of tools and fund operations of the program, have tools that you’re not using but would love to see go to a good home (or help build lots of new homes), or just have some availability in your schedule to help us organize tools or help building projects alongside our team, you can bring a lot of value to the Tool Share Program!

Why Tool Share?
The right tools can make all the difference whether you’re putting together your first birdhouse kit or building a ramp to your front porch. Building a collection of valuable tools can take a lot of time and money.
Rebuilding Together of South Alabama has launched our Tool Share Program to provide everyone in our region access to the tools they need to check that project off their to-do list that they’ve felt they lacked the resources to finish.
